The Wiggley Wrigglies

Just a little snippet of Little's adventures with early drawing ideas. Image 1 is water colour and ink, image 2 is water colour and image 3 is ink from the mock book with the early colour choice for Daddy Wiggle. I later changed his colour to Champagne and Cool Aqua, as I didn't like the green. The illustration media chose has is the hardest part of this book! The finished book will be out in 2025. Deep down below the ground

The Wiggley Wrigglies can be found.

Snug and safe, whatever the weather,

They wiggle and wriggle up close together.

He looked up above at the spacious blue sky

As white puffed clouds blew gently by.

“No time for gaping” said Dad with a shout.

It’s most dangerous up here just as you come out.”

“Quick!” Shouted Gran, “it’s that horrible crow.”

“Ee, hurry up lad we really must go.”

Mum grabbed little’s tail and Dad grabbed his neck.

The crow swooped down to peck, peck, peck.

But Grandpa was waiting, his flopped tail at the ready,

Gran snatched a big twig and both stood steady.
