Children's Stories

Tad the lab could not find his bone.
‘Oh where is my bone?’ he began to moan.
He looked under the sofa and under the chair,
but his shiny white bone wasn’t there.

He went to the kitchen and looked under the sink.
‘Oh where could it be?’ Think, think, THINK!
It was not in the fridge, nor in the bin.
It was not in the cupboard, or the money tin.

Tad sat and thought ‘How can I find my bone?’
He had an idea and reached for the phone,
“I’ll phone all my friends. They’ll come and help.”
So he called all his pals with a woof, bark and yelp.

He stood and waited by the garden gates,
And after five minutes along came his mates.
Tad wagged his tail and barked a loud ’Hi!’
Each dog wagged back as they trotted by.

There was Dug the Pug with Daniel the Spaniel.
Noodle Labradoodle, and Bow Wow the Chow Chow.
Dasher the Dachsund and Howa Chihuahua.
Holly the Collie with Roxer the Boxer.
